Pre requisite:  Student must have taken Sewing 100

Sewing 100A/B Class Description

Camp Stitch-a-Lot provides a fun and practical introduction to sewing for boys and girls that will cover machine and hand sewing basics.  Students learn sewing and machine terminology, tools for sewing, and machine safety.  New students receive a sewing kit (to keep) full of all the notions required for class and future sewing projects. 

Students will create a variety of fun beginner-friendly projects throughout the week, that’s sure to pique interest and enthusiasm for sewing.

Student must bring a sewing machine in good working order, along with the machines power cord, foot pedal and instruction manual.

Sewing 150A/B Class Description

Students advance their sewing skills, making projects with curved features. They'll learn to follow beginner pattern instructions, pinning, cutting, an easy zipper technique and SEW much more.

Student must bring a sewing machine in good working order, along with the machines power cord, foot pedal and instruction manual.

To attend this class, students are required to have taken the 100- Beginning Sewing

Crochet for Beginners Class Description

Crochet is an easy craft to learn, and with practice, students will be able to master different stitches and techniques to create a variety of projects.  This beginning level class on how to crochet is suitable for left or right-handers. Students will learn the basic crochet stitches, crochet hooks, yarn types, reading crochet patterns, crochet abbreviations, weaving in yarn ends, joining yarn, keeping track of rows and stitches, while creating fun projects.

All class materials provided.

Embroidery for Beginners Class Description

No experience necessary! Class covers a variety of beginner-friendly embroidery stitches like the satin stitch, back stitch, stem stitch, leaf stitch, and French knot. These designs can be stitched onto your clothing, linens, and more. Students will be able to create a variety of different embroidery designs by the end of class!
